Project Overview:

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) designed and constructed roadway improvements to Interstate 10, from milepost 219 at Picacho Peak Road, to milepost 213 near Picacho. The improvements included widening I-10 from two lanes to three lanes in each direction.

Project Schedule:

• Design completed
• Construction began in the fall of 2009
• Construction improvements were completed September 2010
