Traffic Interchange

Potential New Interchange on Interstate 8 The Arizona Department of Transportation is proposing a potential new traffic interchange on I-8, approximately one mile west of Interstate 10. Project Overview Numerous commercial and residential developments are planned for the area, and over time, growth rates for the City of Casa Grande are expected to continue to increase. The proposed traffic interchange, which is currently along the alignment of Henness Road, will provide improved local access to areas north and south of I-8 while minimizing congestion and disruptions to traffic at the existing I-8 interchanges at Thornton and Blanco roads. The project is being administered by ADOT and the planning, design and construction of the project are being funded privately.
